- debese: Crossed into Illinois (another missing sign) on a bee-line for Indy, family and refreshment before the last leg.
- debese: St. Louis Arch was cool. Wasn't sure if they'd let former McDomalds employees in....
- debese: Updating from the top of the St. Louis Arch.
- debese: Quick jaunt into Kansas at St. Joseph's, MO. No "Welcome to Kansas sign though.

Though we dont always know the reasons, Gods ways are best. Though that is not exactly a comfort during one of the hardest times in your life, its so true. I will be praying for you both. I have been there, four times. It never gets easier- and the only way I have been able to come to terms with it- is being abelt to look back and know that God was simply putting his hand of protection over my life. God saw the whole picture- he knew I would one day soon be raising my daughter alone. He knew I would not be able to handlethe task of a single mother with more than one child. And while I grieve often for the children I have lost, I can rejoice in the Lord and his provision for my life. And I look forward to the children that await me in heaven.
